چکیده
Objective: The aim of this study was to determine if impaired distal ureteral contraction detected by urinary ultrasonography (US) could predict presence vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). Materials and Methods: A Retrospective analysis patients’ files between November 2016 September 2020 performed. total 248 children with demonstrated VUR on voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) who underwent US within one week the VCUG examination were included in study. degree hydronephrosis classified as per Society for Fetal Urology grading system done International Reflux Study Group system. defined reduced movement ureter well deficiency urine discharge into bladder. Results: There a significant correlation grade (p=0.0028). Also, dilation related increasing grades (p=0.001). present only dilating (grades III IV V) while its relationship significantly high V Conclusion: In children, increase hydronephrosis, may aid decision-making terms requesting detect VUR.

[Treatment of urinary tract anomalies detected by prenatal ultrasonography].
Twelve pediatric patients with antenatal diagnosed urinary tract anomalies from 1988 to 1992 in Niigata University Hospital were clinically examined. 1: All patients were diagnosed by ultrasonography. Eleven cases did not have any abnormal pregnancy and other had oligohydramnious. 2: Postnatal surgical treatments were performed in 11 cases, but antenatal therapy was not performed in any case. 3...
متن کاملManagement of fetal urinary tract anomalies detected by prenatal ultrasonography.
Over a three and a half year period 32 babies were referred with a urinary tract anomaly diagnosed by prenatal ultrasound. This diagnosis was subsequently confirmed in 19 infants by postnatal assessment. Three of 13 infants in whom the original diagnosis was incorrect were subsequently found to have intra-abdominal pathology but no urological anomaly, while the other 10 had lesions in the urina...
متن کاملComparison of diagnosis of VUR nephropathy by urinary level of ceruloplasmin with DMSA-Scan in children
Background: Children with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) are at risk of recurrent pyelonephritis, kidney scars, hypertension, and renal failure. Currently, VUR complications can be diagnosed by different imaging methods such as sonography, intravenous pyelography and dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) scan, having certain limitations. Urinary level of ceruloplasmin (Cp) might be an effective non-radio...
متن کاملLaparoscopic Ureteral Reimplant for Distal Ureteral Strictures
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The incidence of ureteral injuries is on the rise. Endoscopic treatment of long distal ureteral strictures is associated with poor success rates, and open ureteral reimplantation is a potentially morbid surgical procedure. The objective of this study was to review our early results with laparoscopic ureteral reimplantation. METHODS Between May 2004 and February 2007,...
متن کاملCorrelation between anteroposterior renal pelvic diameter and vesicoureteral reflux in congenital hydronephros
Introduction: One of the most common findings in prenatal evaluation is congenital hydronephrosis. The correct diagnosis is of great value. This study was conducted to find the correlation between Anteroposterior Renal Pelvic Diameter (APD), which is detected by postnatal ultrasonography, and Vesicoureteral Reflux (VUR) in neonates and infants with congenital hydronephrosis. Therefore, this stu...
